Show Thompson News Notes. . . By Betty Jeffries Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. there was a meeting held at the Community Building in Thompson by the Water Improvement Board and all interested parties. Our main speaker speak-er was Court Brewer who is a "Consulting Planner" and is on the faculty of the Utah State University. Mr. Brewer's Brew-er's reasons for being our main speaker was to tell us where we can get help and what we will have to do to improve our town in general and to accommodate the tourism that the new highway is bound to bring and the growth in general. gen-eral. Sunday found many local Thompsonites having hav-ing a delightful time as well as the evening meal outside at Tony and Rose Lemuiex. Rose fixed (as usual) a lovely meal to celebrate not only Mother's Moth-er's Day but Jackie's and Philip's birthdays. Rose's mother was there as well as two of Rose's sisters and their families. fami-lies. Paula came down from Salt Lake City and does not have to return to her nursing until Tuesday. Boyd Frame went up to Price, Utah, Thursday to help his grandparents at their Husky Bulk Station. Sta-tion. Grandpa Myers was a little under the weather as he had to have all his teeth taken out.
