Show Prospects for Acoceny i Should Apply Soon High school juniors who are interested in attending at-tending the United States Air Force Academy upon graduation should apply for a nomination as soon as possible according to Major Orrin M. Selman. the Academy liaison officer of-ficer in the Southeastern Utah area. Major Selman is an Air Force Reserve Officer, Of-ficer, not on active duty, who represents the Academy Aca-demy in local schools. His responsibility is to assist and counsel young men who want to apply for the Air Force Aca- demy. Major Selman points out that the two United States Senators from Utah and the Representative Represent-ative of the First Congressional Con-gressional district are allowed to have as many as five chargeable cadets each, or a total of 15. at the Academy at any one time. Fach Member of Congress is allowed to nominate ten candidates for each cadet vacancy he has available in an entering class. No political affiliation is required to apply.
