Show Walker Gains New Duties James Walker, instructor in-structor at Grand County Coun-ty Junior High School, has been named director of community and adult education for the coming school year, it was announced an-nounced Monday by Superintendent Sup-erintendent Bill B. Mea-dor. Mea-dor. Mr. Meador announced the appointment at he explained ex-plained administrative shifts in the District. Mr. Dean Hammer, who has held the above responsibilities responsi-bilities the past year as well as being director of the Vocational Education Educa-tion Center, will be leaving leav-ing Moab at the end of the school year. Principal Princi-pal Theron Johnson of Grand High School will take over the Vocational Education Center as an additional responsibility, responsibil-ity, and Mr. Walker will assume the other jobs. The newly-appointed administrator has been deeply involved in the summer education program pro-gram for the past several sever-al years, and is academically academ-ically well qualified for the new position, Mr. Meador stated. |
