Show Grand High Graduation Week Coming Up Here Graduation exercises for the Grand County High School Class of 1973 w ill see diplomas awarded award-ed to 122 students in ceremonies cer-emonies planned for Thursday, May 24, at the High School Amphitheatre. Amphithe-atre. The commencement commence-ment is set to begin at 8:15 p.m. Prior to the actual graduation ceremonies will be Baccalaureate practice for the Seniors throughout this week. They completed their last day of school on Tuesday. Yearbooks will be distributed on Friday beginning at 11 a.m. On Sunday, May 20, Baccalaureate will be held at 8 p.m. at the LDS Church on Locust Lane. Speaker for the program will be Dr. C. A. Raymond. Students will return to school Monday for Awards Night, to wind up all activities prior to actual graduation ceremonies cere-monies on Thursday. Program for commencement com-mencement is set to begin be-gin at 8:15 p.m. with guest speaker Dan Valentine, Val-entine, columnist for the Salt Lake Tribune. Talks for the evening will also be giv en by valedictorian Ginger Winder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan W inder and salutatorian, Kurt Blust, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Blust. Diplomas will be presented pre-sented by School Board President Sam Taylor and School Board member mem-ber Marge Tomsic will present flowers to graduating girls. Theme for this year's class is "He that has grown to' wisdom hurries hur-ries not, but thinks and weighs what wisdom bids him do." Guinicell, "Of Moderation and Tolerance". Toler-ance".
