Show Group Arrested For H. S. Break-in Moab City Police this week reported the an est of four juveniles and one adult in connection with the break in at Grand County High School on May 7. All five were to be charged with second degree burglary and the juveniles were to be turned over to Juvenile Court. The adult charged in the complaint was George Lacy. Officers report that sometime after 3 a.m. on Monday, the Rectory of St. Pius X Catholic Church was broken into and about $60' in cash was taken. Police officers offi-cers also reported vandalism van-dalism which occurred over the weekend at the City Park in which someone some-one drove a car across the lawn, doing some damage. Another report of vandalism was received re-ceived from the Walnut Lane trailer court area where eggs were thrown on several trailers. One accident was also reported during the week when Lawrence Day driving a 1969 Ford Van belonging to Utah Power and Light hit a 1965 Plymouth belonging to Elspeth Lawton in City Market parking lot. Damage to the Lawton vehicle was set at $150 with no damage to the UP&L truck. No citations were issued. |
