Show Business and Professional Women Hear Harold Jacobs on Safety Harold Jacobs, chairman of the Grand County Safeiy Council, addressed the Business Bus-iness and Professional Women's Wo-men's Club on the general aspects of the functions and '.concerns of the Safety Council, Coun-cil, at the regular monthly 'meeting Monday evening at the Ramada Desert Inn. He stated that the Council is concerned not only with traffic safety, alihough that Js what we generally think of when the word is used, but safety in parks, the home, at public gatherings, and anywhere any-where a hazard exists. He urged the group to be concerned as individuals in faking our town a safer place in which to live by jielping to eliminate conditions condi-tions that might be conducive conduc-ive to accidents.
