Show , j : i ..J Mr. and Mrs. Bill Griswold Bill Griswold, Marcia June Turner Married in Oct. 23 Rites Marcia June Turner, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Mason of Moab and Mr. and Mrs. George E. Turner of Escalon, Calif., was married on Saturday, October 23, to William B. Griswold, son of Mrs. Brenda Griswold of Moab and Mr. Don Griswold. The late afternoon ceremony was performed by the Rev. John Watson at the First Baptist Church in Moab. The church was decorated with baskets of fall flowers. Miss Lotus Nelson was the organist. The bride wore a full-length dress of ivory lace' and carried a bouquet of fall flowers and baby's breath. Miss Mary Mallon was maid of honor. She wore a full length green dress and carried a fall bouquet. Glen Mays was best man and Damon Johnston served as ringbearer. Immediately following the wedding, a reception was held in the church social hall, with young friends of the bride assisting. Out of town guests included Miss Anita Griswold, Rock Springs, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Ted Knowles and Mr. and Mrs. Max Chesnut of Teas-' dale, Ulah-"Mr." and Mrs'. Joe' A. Johnston and family of Grand Junction, Colo.; Mrs. Tom Farmer and children of Redvale, Colo.; Rick Mason and Mark Mason of Salt Lake City; Don and Donna Garrett of Price; and Miss Emi Lee Hefner of Salt Lake City. The bride is a student at GCHS and the groom is employed by Southern Paving Company. The young couple will make their home in Moab. |
