Show Georaia Gordon Won This veek's Contest Mrs. Thelma Gordon was tickled pink over the winning entry drawn in the Times Mystery Personality Contest this week even though it wasn't hers. The entry, drawn by GCHS teacher Pat Riches-on, Riches-on, belonged to Thelma's daughter. Georgia. We at the Times have to say, once again, that making our contest a family project can pay off! Georgia's sister is Gianne Simmons, who won last week. This is the second time that members of the same family have won two weeks in a row in this series of the contest. Thelma said that she already was waiting for the paper to come out so she could start looking to win the next time! Georgia will probably make good use of the $40 in Bonus Bucks that she won for correctly identifying Mystery Personality Eula Griffin and for finding all 12 clues. She is a student in nurses training at the College of Eastern Utah in Price, and students always need money! Get your pencils ready to try for this week's pot of a possible $40 in Bonus Bucks, and see how you did on the clues we hid last week: "Granny," Hobbit Hole; For mer English teacher, The Apostrophe; Sings in Choir, City Market; Likes to sew, Lil's Fabrics; From Ohio, Lightfoot's; Camper, Rim Rock Flowers and Gifts; "Arfsy-Craftsy," The Fabric House; Likes animals, Miller's Super Market; Sister lives here, Golden Stake; Eastern Star, Gift Shop Jewelers; Has 1 daughter, Mode-O-Day; Past Matron, Lucille's. |
