Just now there is war threatened down there, and it is said that Salvador will give secret se-cret aid to Honduras, and that it is expected that Guatemala will in the same way give secret aid to Nicaragua. It, will amount, to nothing except th kifling of a lot of people and the destruction of a lot of property. Many citizens of the United States have large interests in-terests there, and they and their property should not be put in jeopardy every year or two by the desire of those greasers to loot the country, and especially the property of foreigners in their country. Free government with them is simply a burlesque, bur-lesque, because they are' none of them fit to be free. |
