Show WHITE BARBERS NEED ; NOT SHAVE NEGROES HARTFORD. Conn., March 8. The Su- preme court of the State has decided that! barbers in Connecticut : need not shave negroes. The decision was reached on! an appeal from a Superior court decision' in Bridgeport, by Henry Foulknes, a ne-' gro. who brought suit against Thomas So-: lajszl. a barber of that city. Solazzi refused to shaves Foulknes, his defense being that his barber shop was not a place of public' accommodation within the meaning of the law.
