Show H0NDURANS FORCE ENEMY FROM T0VN RAN SALVADOR, Republic of Salvador, Salva-dor, March 8. The Associated Press hss received a meeage from Gen. Manuel Man-uel Bonilla, President of Honduras, from Choluteca, a strongly fortified town sixty-eight miles south of Tegucigalpa, Teguci-galpa, as follows "One of the Honduran scouting parties par-ties attacked the enemy Wednesday at Namasiquo, in Honduras, close to the Nicaraguan frontier. The Honduran troops occupied three advanced positions posi-tions and compelled the enemy to abandon aban-don the town. The enemy was then re- fmlsed from the heights, suffering heavy osses and proving an easy target for our artillery. "The enemy is now disbanding by the hundreds. We succeeded in capturing captur-ing a number of rifles and a quantity of ammunition. The battle lasted five hours." |
