Show LITTLE BUSINESS IN THE SENATE TODAY Business moved slowly in the State Senate today. In the hour and a half session this morning three bills were passed and numerous reports received from the House of Representatives. No measures of great Importance were put through and . the session was occupied mostly with routine work. The bills passed were as follows: S. B. No. 142, Calliper, appropriating (1000 to be spent on the roads and bridges of Millard county. S. B. No. 153, Committee on Military Affairs, relating to the organisation of companies of the National Guard, retirement retire-ment of officers, courts of inquiry, and providing a penalty In cases where members mem-bers of the enrolled militia or members of the National Guard of Utah refuse to answer the call of the commander-in-chief to perform military duty. S. B. No. 154, Committee on Military Affairs, relating to the appointment and pay of "company armorers." |
