Show ALLEGED STOLEN RINGS FOUND UNDER BED; CASE TO END Roren X. Chrlstensen, counsel for John Chapman, the bicyclist who was arrested yesterday- on a 'charge of grand larceny, It being charged by Ida Borden, an Inmate In-mate of a Commercial street resort, that be had stolen two valuable diamond rings from her, waived the reading of the complaint com-plaint In the case before Judge Dlehl this morning, and entered a plea of not guilty to the charge. On motion of Mr. Chrlstensen. Chapman was released on his own recognizance. It Is understood that the woman who made the charge against Chapman found the rings under a bed In her room last night. She admits that she had been drinking, and that she acted hastily in swearing out the complaint. The case against Chapman will probably be dismissed. |
