Show FIGHT ON SUNDAY THEATER CLOSING OPENS IN HOUSE An effort wilr probably.be made in the House of Bepresentativea to kill the bill for the closing t theaters on 8unday. This is one of the dozen reform re-form bills that have crept in. The bill was introduced by Mr. Tolton, who declared de-clared yesterday that he had' no particular partic-ular interest in it. When the bill was called. Speaker Joseph left his chair to go on the floor and amend the bill. He declared that if theaters snd all amusements were to be closed on Sundav the same should be done on Memorial day. The amendment amend-ment was adopted. After some discussion discus-sion the bill was made a special order of business for next Tuesday at 3 o 'clock. |
