Show FIGHT ON ALLEGED PLUMBERS' TRUST IS STARTED IN COURT The trial of the case of Albert T. Lawrence against the Cran,e company and a number of othr defendants was commenced before Judge Ritchie and a jurv this afternoon. The plaintiff alleges that he was in the plumbing business in this city at one time, but that on account of not bring in a combine he was unable to purchase upplios from the Crane company com-pany except at such prici.-s that made it l'mpossinle for liim to bid against the other plumbers in the citv. as a result re-sult of which he was forced out of business. He further alleged that there is illegal ille-gal combination between plumbers in thi citv and that this combination is known as the Master Plumbers' association. asso-ciation. This according to the complaint is composed of the following firms: Anderson Bros., Carthey & Dumbeek, George G. Doyle & Co.. Erskine Bros., Greeu &. Reeve Co.; Gorman Plumbing rompanv; Higham, Burton & Taylor; I. M. Higlev & Co.. Higon 4. Rositor, Keddington" ic Webb, Midgley Bros., Movie & Cummin g, Will Reese Plumbing" Plumb-ing" company, Tobin & Kevting and Albert Al-bert H. Walsh. |
