Show BRYCE CHEERED AS HE STARTS FOR AMERICA LONDON, Feb. 13. A gTeat crowd of personal and political friends gathered gath-ered at Euston station this morning to bid farewell to James Bryce, the Embassador Em-bassador to the United States, and Mrs. Brvce, who proceeded to Liverpool in a caf attached to the regular steamer train. At Liverpool they boarded the Oceanic for New York. Among those present were the Earl of Crewe, Lord President of the Council; Coun-cil; Herbert Gladstone, Home Secretary; Secre-tary; Lord Fitzmaurice. Under Secretary Secre-tary for Foreign Affairs; Lewis Har-court, Har-court, Commissioner of Public Works, and Mrs. Harcourt; Lord Strathcona, High Commissioner of Canada; Arthur Ponsonbv, representing the Prime Minister, Min-ister, and Secretary Carter of the American Embassy. Ai the train left, three hearty cheers were given for the departing couple. |
