Show Contract Offered City For Feeding Prisoners Mrs. B. A. Hoesch, 669 Hollywood Holly-wood avenue, Tuesday filed a petition peti-tion with city commissioners offering offer-ing to undertake a contract for feeding city Jail prisoners. It was the first bid of Its kind on an agreement to supercede th existing contract expiring this year and proposed feeding of nonwork-lng nonwork-lng prisoners for 10 cents per breakfast and lunch and 12 cents for supper. Working prisoners would be allowed 16 cents for every meal. The present contract provides 12 cents per meal for nonworklng prisoners and 1 cents per meal for working prisoners. |
