Show Riders Slate 240-Mile 240-Mile Night Race A gruelling 240-mile endurance run over some of the roughest roads In northern Utah will begin be-gin Wednesday midnight and last until around noon Thursday when motorcycle riders from Utah and Idaho compete for the state endurance en-durance championship. Perry E. Davis, official in charge, announced an-nounced Tuesday. The race will start in Ogden, go tip through the Bear lake country and then circle back to Salt Lake City. Davis said that one of the roughest rough-est courses in Utah was picked for the run. Riders will not know their destination, he added. At each checking station they will receive a card telling them where to go and what time they must arrive at the next checking point Riders must be on time or lose points In the grading. A beautiful trophy will be given the winner of the race, and wrist watches will be given to winners of different types of motors. |
