Show OFFICIALS WIND UP. FSCC CONFERENCE Federal Surplus Commodities corporation concluded Its two-dny, 12-state conference Tuesday afternoon after-noon at the Newhouse hotel. One of the afternoon speakers was Richard R. Brown of Washington, Wash-ington, D. C. in charge of state distribution for the F S C C, who said that Inauguration of the food stamp plan will not cause his organization or-ganization to be disbanded. There will remain cities and towns that do not meet food stamp requirements, he said. In addition, the FSCC will continue to supply sup-ply commodities to some public institutions, in-stitutions, such as hot lunches for schools, and assist in emergency areas. I |
