Prominent personages will lead in the appeal for public support to the intensive drive for funds. Early Tuesday the workers, led by group majors and team captains, will begin the actual fund soliciting in every section of the city. Their slogan will be that every dollar aub-scribed aub-scribed helps to arrest some public enemy The 1037 appeal will be carried to the campaigners at the opening "klckoff" dinner by Governor Henry Hen-ry H. Blood. President Heber J. Grant. Brigadier General Walter C. Sweeney, the Rev. Charles E. Free-gard. Free-gard. the Rev. Theodore G. Lilley and the Rev. A. E. Butcher. Each speaker will bring the chest mobilization message to the workers work-ers in a two-minute talk on chest i activities and welfare agency activities. ac-tivities. The opening dinner program will start at :S0 p. m with a concert by the Thirty-eighth infantry band in the hotel lobby. Promptly at T p. m. President Charles L Smith of the Community Chest will greet the assembled leaders and worker. Rabbi- Samuel H. Gordon will pronounce pro-nounce the benediction. Immediately following the dinner Earl J. Glade and the KSL, player will present a dramatic sketch based on the work of chest affiliated affiliat-ed welfare organisations.
