Show NEGROES TELL -JEATH-STORIES AMERICAN FALLS, Idaho Signed confessions obtained from William Green, T, and Charles Kelly, 23, negroes, who are being held her In connection with the freight train death of Johnny Dunn. 44-year-old negro war veteran, will probably result In filing involun-tary involun-tary manslaughter charges against both men, says Sheriff L E. "Buck" Davis. '. Green and Kelly, in their statements, state-ments, are alleged to have said Dunn was accidentally pushed through a car door on a Union Pacific freight train near here. The men had all been drinking and Dunn was pushed through the door during a scuffle, say the confessions. Kelly, in his third statement in a week, told officers how the trio had boarded a freight train at Minidoka Min-idoka after being taken from a passenger pas-senger train for Intoxication and how he (Kelly) robbed the sleeping Dunn of his money in th freight car. Kelly alleges Dunn awakened, j found ho had been rshbsd and started toward Green, who pushed the man away. Dunn fell through th door, suffering a basal fracture of the skull which resulted in instant in-stant death, says Haxei Davis, Power Pow-er county coroner. The case has been turned over to W. C. Loofbourow, Power county attorney, who expect to file charges early this week. |
