Show Mrs. P. J. Parsons Honors Daughter At Trousseau Tea A prettily arranged trousseau tea was given Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 o'clock by Mrs. P. J. Parsons, who entertained at her home, 11 West Malvern avenue. In honor of her daughter, Miss Beatrice Parsons, Par-sons, whose marriage to H. Rex Green will be an event of Wednesday. Wednes-day. The tea table was attractively covered with a lace cloth and centered cen-tered with a dainty arrangement of pink and white pompon chrysanthemums. chrysan-themums. Presiding at the table during the afternoon were Mrs. Dewey Canning. Mrs. Bernice Daniels Dan-iels and Miss Judy McAllister. Assisting As-sisting were Mrs. Ed Alien and Mrs. A. F. McAllister. Fifty guests called. On Saturday evening Mrs. O. R. Williams. Mrs. A. F. McAllister and Mrs. A. A. Rordams entertained with a delightful party for Miss Parsons. The affair was given at the Williams home on East Broadway Broad-way and 40 guests attended. A miniature bride and bridegroom centered the supper table and white chrysanthemums completed the dee-orations. dee-orations. The marriage of Miss Parsons and Mr. Green will be solemnised in the home of the bride's grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Alfred Rordame, 1031 F.ast Broadway, at high noon Wednesday and will be followed by a wedding breakfast for members of the two families and a few close friends. Miss Marjorie Parsons, sister of the bride, will be her only attendant and Clifford Pendl will be best man. |
