Show VVebfeet Players Ask For Stiner as Coach CORVALLIS, Ore., Feb. 18 (UP) A (roup of players on the 1932 Oregon Ore-gon state football team appeared before be-fore the board of athletic control last night and urged appointment of Lon (Stiner, assistant coach, as head coach to succeed Paul J. Schissler, resigned. The delegation was headed by Harold Har-old Moe, halfback. The board took no action. It la endeavoring to reduce the liat of candidates for the pott, numbering num-bering 86 men, to three. |
