Show S. L. Snow Depths Highest Since 1922 Snow depths in Salt Lake this year are greater than any year since 1822, J. Cecil Alter, meteorologist in charge of the Salt Lake weather bureau, aaid Saturday. The snowfall since October 1, Mr. Alter said, is 60.4 Inches, compared to 101.5 inches for the winter ot 1821-22 1821-22 and 106 6 inches tor the winter ot 1816-17. Average fall for normal year is 54 inches. Additional snow flurries are predicted pre-dicted for Salt Lake for Saturday night. |
