Lusty waa convicted last December ( as tha driver of an automobile which crashed Into a Telegram-Trlbuna truck on September 25. killing Sey mour B. Hughes, 41, driver for the newspapers. The accident occurred at Twenty-first South snd Fifth East street. Th defendant was sentenced to a term of ona year, with time off for th period spent awaiting trial, which brought the net term to approximately approximate-ly nine months. He was committed Immediately after conviction. A family affair resulted when three brothers, Benjamin, Marion and Merrill Mer-rill Brady, aach applied for parole. They are serving sentences for stealing steal-ing 50 bushels of wheat In Fall-view. After a lengthy public hearing, the board prepared to go Into executive session late Saturday afternoon. |
