The following follow-ing groups entertained at smart teal on Thursday. Alpha Chi Omega The color scheme of black and white was featured in the decorations decora-tions for the formal tea given Thursday afternoon by members of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority at the chapter house, 1363 East South Temple street. A combination of white carnations and sweet peas arranged ar-ranged in a low black bowl centered the table, which was lighted with black princess tapers In silver candelabra can-delabra and covered with a Venetian Vene-tian lace cloth. Mrs. Frank Ford and Mrs. Rlch-- Rlch-- ard Snow poured. Miss Leona Kidman was general wardla placed on a reflector formed the centerpiece for the erving table. ta-ble. Lyman home on Third avenue was the scene of a lovely formal tea Thursday afternoon, after-noon, given by Theta Upsilon sorority so-rority members. A white basket filled with Talisman roses and feathery fern centered the table for the occasion. A joint birthday and preference banquet for the sorority will be given at the Beau Brummel at 6 p. m. Delta Delta Delta A most unusual decorative arrangement ar-rangement was carried out for the tea given -Thursday by tha Delia Delta Delta sorority. A delicate silver sil-ver spiral with blue and white ( flowers on each tier centered the tea table, which was lighted with blue tapers in silver holders. Silver spirals combined with blue . and whit flowers decorated the rooms. Mrs. L. S. Packman, Mrs. E. A. Llttlefield, Mrs. Lillian Jenkins Ence and Mrs. Edgar Holllngworth presided at the tea and coffee urns. Miss Elizabeth Bothwell was svenue. Rooms were decorated with old fashioned nosegay of lavender , sweet peas and violets. In keeping with the theme, the table was covered cov-ered with an Italian lac cloth and was centered with an attractive bouquet of violets and lavender butterfly but-terfly sweet peas in a low white basket, tied with lavender ribbon. Violet shaded tapers in silver holders hold-ers were placed at each aide of the centerpiece.
