TWO BIG SALVAHON ARMY MEETIHGS HELD Two Interesting meetings, of the Salvation Sal-vation Army were conducted Sunday by Col. G. Fren.cn -and MaJ. John Flynn of the San Francisco branch of the corps. The two officers are on their way to Chicago to confer with Commandant Com-mandant Evangeline Booth regarding the extension of army work on the Pacific Pa-cific coast, and stopped here long enough to conduct an afternoon and evening service at the Salt Lake The-, ater. . Prior to the meeting In the afternoon a street parade, In which the Sunday-school Sunday-school children of the army participated, participat-ed, was held. . Col. French spoke on "The Name of Jesus as Savior." Sunday evening an Illustrated lecture on "From Hell Gate to Golden Gate" was given. Both meetings were well attended.
