Show RECEIVER IS ASKED FOR LYON COMPAHY Another action was begun in the District Dis-trict court Saturday Involving the possession pos-session of the stock formerly owned by Lyon & Co. Complaint was filed In the District court by Willard F. Snyder against A. E. Lyon, asking that a receiver re-ceiver be appointed by the court to take charge of the business and affairs of the company, to collect the accounts outstanding, out-standing, to dispose of the business, and asking also that Lyon be enjoined against collecting- any money due the company. . In the compalint it is alleged that until un-til May 19, 1904, when the business was closed, the plaintiff had advanced to be used in the, business, $12,757.40, in addition addi-tion to $10,000 which he advanced according ac-cording to the articles and agreements of partnership. There was owing to other firms $21,061. which the plaintiff claims he has paid since that date. Accounts are owing to the firm in the sum of $9216.45, and it is alleged that the defendant has collected a portion of this amount, for which an ; accounting is asked. |
