The newspapers Friday devoted long articles to praise of Lleut,-Gen. Lleut,-Gen. Stoessel and the heroic garrison of Port Arthur and to a general indorsement indorse-ment of the movement started at KlelT for a national subscription in behalf of the families of the killed and surviving defenders.
