Show SMALLPOX IS FATAL AFTER SHORT ILLNESS Oscar Manning, 16 years old, died of smallpox Friday night at his home. No. 17 -Grape street after having been ill but a week. The disease was In Its most virulent form, and he was physically physi-cally weak when he contracted it, owing to the fact that he had recently recovered recov-ered from a severe case of lumbago. A Bister is Just recovering from smallpox. Oscar Manning was a son of Hiram C. Manning and a, brother of George V. Manning, division superintendent of the Utah Light and Railway company, and was a student at the high school. |
