Polly turned her head sideways, flapped her wings, and cried: "Carney, Carney; go away with your blarney." John Carney, hotel man at 95 South Canal street, had his pet bird in the sweat box sixteen times today to see If he could get back his diamond. Polly was unyielding. She still retains the sparkler she plucked from her master's shirt front. "Set 'em up!" screamed the parroL Carney is still minus the sparkler. I
