OCR Text	Show COURT RULES OUT WOMAN'S TESTIMONY Prosecution Not Allowed to Introduce Intro-duce Madam La Bonta in the Kelly Trial. BUTTE. Mont.. April 25. In the Kelly trial, when the State called Madam La Bonta. the alleged accomplice In the killing of Dr. Cayley, to the stand. Attorney At-torney E. S. Booth, for the defense, rose and objected to Madam La Bonta being allowed to testify. "Under the statutes," said Mr. Booth, "she cannot give testimony testi-mony so long as there Is a charge against her." "I certainly shall not withdraw the charge against Mrs. La Bonta," said County Attorney Breen. "The witness cannot testify," said Judge McClernan, and Mrs. La Bonta stepped down and out of the witness box. The trial is expected to close soon.
