NATURE OF LANDS IS IN DISPUTE Tracts Near Stockton Are Located Under Both Agricultural and Mineral Provisions. The question of whether or not certain cer-tain lands adjoining the town of Stockton Stock-ton should be designated as mineral or agricultural lands is causing considerable consider-able excitement in and about Stockton. A number of mining claim notices have been posted on certain tracts of land to which persons have been granted grant-ed agricultural rights. It is asserted that the land Is unfit for anything other oth-er than mining and protests have been forwarded to Washington. The case will probably be rfTed to the local office wiihin a few lays.
