From the valley smelter during the past week 611.844 pounds of bullion were ' shipped, divided as follows: Bingham Consolidated, 182,798 pounds; Highland Boy (Utah Consolidated), 245.000 pounds; United States, 184,046 pounds. Within two weeks more the Colorado Iron works will complete Its contract for the construction of the smelter for the Majestic Copper Mining and Smelting Smelt-ing company, and It will hand over to the Majestic people as fine and complete a plant a can be found anywhere. John T. Hodson and J. H. Stalllngs, the former owners of the Tesora of Tin-tic, Tin-tic, have struck a rich proposition in the Lincoln property near Pearl, Ida They are at present mining ore worth $850 per ton. For two years the development devel-opment of the property has been pushed and now comes the news that in a drift about 400 feet east of the shaft on the 300-foot level a breast of ore twenty feet thick has been opened up. . Thirteen Thir-teen of it aggregates $20, thirty inches on the footwall runs $200, while a four-inch four-inch streak In the middle of the vein assays 34.81 ounces gold, 362 ounces silver and 16.2 per cent lead, giving It a value on the day the assays were made of $355.62 per ton. Smith of this city is back from a trip to Fay, Nev., where he has been actively engaged In launching the Irus Gold Mining company, which owns eleven claims in the Eagle Valley district dis-trict near the Horseshoe and Home-stake Home-stake properties. Interested with Mr. Smith are O. J. Salisbury, John W. Donmellan and several other Salt Lakers. Lak-ers. The property is a most promising one, the ore already opened up showing over $12 per ton. M'KINXEY COMPANY FILES ITS ARTICLES. The McKlnley Mining "company, with headquarters at Eureka City, Juab county, filed articles of Incorporation In the office of the Secretary of State this morning. It has a capitalisation of $40,-000, $40,-000, divided Into shares of the par value of 10 cents each. - The officers are: W. D. Meyers, president; Erlck Levin, vice-president; vice-president; A. M Bowen, secretary, and W. W. Thompson, treasurer. UTAH MINE RESPONDING WITH INCREASED SHIPMENTS. The Utah mine is fast making up for the lapse In Its shipments which occurred last month owing to the bad roads. Today the Fish Springs producer sold one car and another was received at the sampler Saturday night. A letter from Superintendent Superin-tendent Ciiemon, received this morning, stated that another car had left the mine on April 18th and that the mine is looking look-ing better every day. MINING NOTES. The ore-and bullion settlements for the past week amounted to $393,200.
