President Roosevelt will be the guest of Butte's labor unions during a portion of the time he expects to spend here,' May 27th. He has accepted the invitation of the Silver Bow Trades and Labor assembly. as-sembly. Immediately upon the receipt of the invitation Private Secretary Loeb drove ten miles to where the President was and laid the matter before him. When Malcolm Glllls of the labor union's committee com-mittee arrived at Cinnabar. Secretary Loeb had returned and informed the labor representative that the President was pleased to aocept the invitation. In all probability preparations will be made at once to entertain the President at Columbia Gardens, though definite arrangements have not yet been made. |
