'Jarvis. a well-knewn well-knewn woman of Eureka, died very suddenly sud-denly at her home yesterday morning. Mrs. Jarvis was 46 years- of age and apparently as strong and healthy as a woman of 25. - 8he was engagwl in doing her .housework, when she became dizzy and fell, dying almost instantly. Death was undoubtedly due - to heart failure. The husband and children could not realize re-alize that death had come and taken from them one they loved so dearly and, together to-gether with the physician, did everything possible to restore life, but without success. suc-cess. The decessed was born in New York State in 1857 and had been a resident resi-dent of Eureka for about ten years. She leaves a husband and six children and scores of clone friends to mourn her sudden sud-den death. The remainB will probably be shipped to Salt Lake City for burial Tuesday. - - RICHFIELD: All Indications point to the certainty of the early installation of a big electric power plant in Sevier county. At a directors' meeting in Richfield Rich-field the Sevier Valley Canal company granted to J. M. Bililngsly and associates a franchise on water power to be derived from the canal near Joseph City, where a seventy-foot fall is available. Mr. Bililngsly, Bili-lngsly, who Is one of the largest stockholders stock-holders In the famous B. W. & H. mine, has Interested ether capital with him. Engineer Frank C. Kelsey, accompanied by Representative Asa R. Hawley, llenry C. Larsen and Mr. Bllllnrsly, has made an examination of the canal near Joseph City and states that there In obtainable 250 horse-power, sufficient to light Joseph City, Elstnore, Monroe and Richfield and to run all the machinery in those towns. The deceased came from England in the early '60 and had gained considerable fame in local circles as a poot and writer of original songs.
