Show BRIDE ONLY SEVENTEEN Grace Clawson and Ralph Woolley Surprise Their Friends by Marriage. Miss Grace Clawson, 17 years of age, daughter of Spencer Clawson, and Ralph Woolley, son of Bishop M. S. Woolley, were married at the home of the bride's parents at 10 o'clock last night and left at once for Alberta, Canada. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Woolley, father of the groom. The marriage was a complete surprise sur-prise to everyone, the young couple having not contemplated being married at this time until a few days ago. On the first of the month' Mr. Woolley was offered a good position in Alberta, and decided to accept, but did not care to go so far from home alone. Miss Clawson, to whom he was engaged, agreed to go with him, but as she was under age, could not consent to the marriage. Her father agreed to the marriage and It was decided to keep the matter a profound secret. After the wedding, a supper was served to the members of the family, who alone were present. Mr. and Mrs. Woolley left on the midnight mid-night train for San Francisco, whence they will go to Tacoma and then to Canada. They are followed by the best wishes for success and happiness by their large circle of friends. |
