MUes asking what portion of his reports were given to the press, by whom made public and to whom furnished. The Secretary called in the officer who " furntehed the reports and gave directions , to him, to prepare a statement showing .what had been done. The reply to Gen. Miles will be sent tomorrow, and will how. that the Adjutant-General's offlce "furnished copies of that portion of Gen.
