Show WILD ENGINE RUNS INTO CAR OF ORE BINGHAM, Nov. 0. Engine No. 2 of the Copper Belt railway blew off a cylinder head yesterday while pushing a car of coal up the canvon. The explosion broke the controller of the air brakes, leaving the engine helpless. help-less. The brake man on the coal car set the brakes and then jumped. The engineer en-gineer and firemen, however, stuck to their post as the engi.ie rushed down the steep incline. , When near the depot they saw a car of ore In the track ahead of them and both jumped, neither being injured. The engine ran into the car and was baajly demolished. |
