This production of j' 'Parsifal" is marked by the employment of many of the Baireuth customs. fhe commencing time, however, has been modified. It has formerly been the rule to begin the evening performance at 5:30. giving an intermission of two hours! for dinner. This intermission is now elimi-) nated and the performance will begin at 7:45 sharp. As at Baireath, the- imperative rule of the spectatora being in their seats when the curtain riaea on the first act will be in force, as on account v the total darkness of the auditorium none- can be seated during the action of the play. Next week's bill at the Orpheum promises to be one of the best of the season to date. It is a pleasure to announce that J. C. Stewart's funny musical farce. "The Two Johns." will be the attraction at the Grand, for three nights and a souvenir Saturday matinee, mat-inee, starting this evening. Musical come dies come and go. but this farce has a won-derful won-derful hold on the theater goers everywhere, which it will probably never lose. The com paoy this season is said to be just first-class in every respect, including such well-known people aa James F. Msrron. John H, Marion. Lou Morgan. Chris Green, Harry Bulkley, Charles Harrington. Edna Burnett. Julia Burns, Grace Dare. Marjorie Maxwell, J. f. Burns, Chris Stout and many others. "Her Bitter Atonement" is still drswing crowded houses at the Lyric. At both performances per-formances yesterday the theater wss comfortably com-fortably filled with enthusiastic audiences.
