Nearly 200 guests were In attendance, and the entire southwest dining-room waa reserved for them. Six toasts were given. Mrs. John Cain acting aa toastmlstress. The committee on arrangements. ar-rangements. Mrs. J. M. Dart. Mrs. A. J. Hosraer and Miss Ethel Paul, were warmly congratulated, after the breakfast, for their success to each detail of the elaborate affair. THE REV. AND MrV M LAIN DAVIS were tendered a reception at Westminster West-minster Presbyterian, churchy Thursday Thurs-day night. The reception waa begun by the Rev.i Mr. Arnold, the retiring pastor, who gave a speech full of words of warm welcome to his succes- - sor. ilr. Davis responded feelingly.
