Senator Holllrigaworth again tried to get consideration of his resolution to amend the Constitution so as to separate sep-arate the election of the Judiciary from the regular contests, but met the same defeat as in the original rollcall. The Senate passed House bill No. 70. defining the terms of burglary in first and second degree. Senator "Walton introduced Senate claims No. 7 and 8 for the Sums alleged to be due for payment to school funds on lands settled prior to March 1. 1869, and It was referred to the State Board of Examiners. House bill No. 42. by Wootton, denning denn-ing certain powers of city councils, vas made a special order for 3 o'clock Tues- iay. Several House bills were received and referred to appropriate committees. H. J. M. No. , by Roberts, was revived re-vived from the House with amendments amend-ments to the Senate amendments which were concurred in. |
