Show MURRAY TO DEMUR TO THE COMPLAINT The preliminary hearing of H. E. Murray, charged with obtaining money under false pretenses, was not begun before Judge Diehl Thursday as originally origi-nally plar.ncd. Murray secured the services ser-vices of an attorney Thursday morning, and notice was served on the court that the plea of the defendant would be withdrawn for the purpose of filing a demurrer to the complaint. The demurrer de-murrer will be argued Friday afternoon. after-noon. Murray is alleged to heve secured $28.50 from J. S Johnson, alleging that he had a trunk in an express office, containing con-taining a small fortune In silverware and hand-painted chlnaware. When the trunk was opened it was found to contain con-tain personal effects of but little value. |
