Show MAKES REPORT ON HYDROGRAPHIC WORK Engineer George L. Swendsen has forwarded to Chief Hydrographer Newell New-ell the most complete report yet compiled com-piled on the hydrographlc work of the general Government in Utah. The report includes the measurement of the more important streams and sources of water supply and a dally record of water flow, as taken from twenty-nine measuring stations covering cover-ing the State from Gunnison on the south to beyond the Idaho line on the north. The most important work of the year, so for as Salt Lake is concerned, was that done at Utah lake. The measurements meas-urements for forty-one streams were taken, which will be of great service when the Government work at the lake Is undertaken. |
