Show zMapleton Reception For Newly Wedded Couple Miss Jenna V. Jensen, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jensen of Mapleton, became the bride of Eldon Warthen of Spanish Fork, in a ceremony performed on Saturday, Sat-urday, Feb. 16, at the home of the bride's parents. The marriage ceremony was performed by Bishop Oscar Whiting Whit-ing of the Mapleton ward, and was witnessed by approximately twenty-five close relatives and friends. , The bride was charmingly attired at-tired in a white satin wedding gown and her veil was finger-tip length, arranged from a crown of seed pearls. She wore a corsage of pink rosebuds. Her attendant was Mrs. Dean Warthen, as matron mat-ron of honor, who wore a blue formal with rosebud corsage. Dean Warthen was best man. Immediately after their marriage, marri-age, the bride and groom were guests at an informal wedding : party at the Jensen home. The rooms were pretty with cut flowers flow-ers and a beautiful tiered wedding cake, decorated in pink and white, also centered the dining table. Last Wednesday evening, the newlyweds were honored with a reception in the Mapleton hall,, which was attended by approximately approxi-mately 200 relatives and friends. The guests were received by the bride and groom, also Mr. and Mrs. Jensen, parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Warthen, brother bro-ther and sister-in-law of the groom, Miss Ruth Jensen, maid of honor, Mrs. Dorohy Gull and Miss Anna Hjorth, bridesmaids. In charge of the serving were Mrs. Lester Hansen and Mrs. George Simms of Provo. They j were assisted by Shirley Hansen, Jackie Pomel, Connie Warren, Shirley and Georgia Simms. Mrs. Elmer Johnson, Mrs. Elmo Jensen and Mary Hansen were in charge of the gift room and were , assisted by Maxine Warner, Glen- na Warner, Phyllis Hansen, Eve- j lyn Pomtl, Marilyn Johnson and j Nadi'ne and Patsy Bills as ushers. Entertainment at the reception included a nicely arranged program pro-gram and dancing. |
