Makes Protest The , contemplated change in mail service in Springville has been cancelled and will go on as usual, it was announced Wednesday. Wednes-day. Continued service on the same schedule is due, in part, to the quick action of the local Chamber of Commerce and a number of businessmen who, when notified of the proposed change, telegraphed tele-graphed the chief mail clerk at Ogden, vigorously protesting the change, which would have resulted result-ed in considerable inconvenience to townspeople. With the present system, a truck will pick up mail in the forenoon- and bring mail into the city during the afternoon, but the major portion of the mail will be sent to and from the city by train early in the morning and in the late afternoon. |
