Show Army Schedules Lower Standards The Army has lowered its physical phy-sical standards for induction under un-der the Selective Service System and has reached out for about 75,000 4-F's to make up the cumulative cum-ulative deficit in draft calls since V-J Day. The Army estimates it will need 250,000 inductees during the first five months of this year to meet demobilization commitments commit-ments and so far it has received only about 35,000 men per month. Henceforth, men within the age limits of 18 to 25, with crooked spines, hernia, moderate psycho-neurosis psycho-neurosis and even mild mental deficiencies, de-ficiencies, will be subject to the draft. |
