Show D.U.P. Camp Spring Creek at Meeting The members of Camp Spring Creek met at the home of Clara Boyer, Thursday afternoon, October Oc-tober 21. First Vice Captain Mary Smart had charge of the meeting which included the following program: Singing, "America", led by Mrs. Clara Boyer and accompanied by Mrs. Josephine Duncan; prayer, by Chaplain Mabel Kindred; singing, "Our Own Beloved Home Land", by the members of the camp. Captain -Ivy Anderson gave a report on the conventions in Salt Lake and Provo. Mrs. Ella Cra-gun Cra-gun gave the members instructions instruc-tions on writing their histories. Mrs. Lottie Black gave a short talk on the registration papers. Mrs. Ivy Anderson gave the life of her father-in-law, James Anderson, Ander-son, and mother-in-law, Caroline Nielson Anderson. Two pioneer lessons were given by Mrs. Eva Hansen, "Political Parties", and "They Came in 18-48". 18-48". Prayer was by Chaplain Kate Mower. Refreshments were' served by Mrs. Maud Christensen, Mrs. Stella Stel-la Straw, Mrs. Clara Boyer and Mrs. Grace McKenzie. The next meeting will be November No-vember 18 at the home of Mrs. H. T. Reynolds, Sr., 109 North Main. |
