Show GRANT SCHOOL PTA CONSIDERS VITAL PROBLEMS AT MEET At the meeting of the Grant School P.-T. A. Friday evening, W. W. Brockbank emphasized the thought that "children must have guidance," -during an especially interesting in-teresting and educational talk. The meeting was under direction of Mrs. Juanita Larabee, who urged parents to enroll in the free educational course to be given this winter by a professor of the University Uni-versity of Utah, the details of which are to be announced later. Principal LeRoy Erickson also spoke, telling of plans to beautify the Grant school grounds. At the close of the meeting parents par-ents of First Graders were invited to remain and discuss the problem of the overcrowded condition of the younger students, and it was the concensus of opinion of those present that a partition should be placed in the room or that the children should go a half day. Room mothers were also announced an-nounced to include: Mrs. Ivan Nielson, Sixth grade; Mrs. Orson nansen. fourth; Mrs. Harold Thorn and Mrs. Mildred Stevens, third; Mrs. Margaret Keeler and Mrs. Glen Law, second, and Mrs. Richard Haglund and Mrs. Nolan Weight, first grade. |
