Show ELECTION TIME The following verse, especially appropriate at this particular time, was writen by Mrs. Marie Clark Miller, of Glendale. Calif., a former resident of Springville, and appeared in a recent edition of the Glendale News-Press: Oh, Gee! I'll be so glad When this election is done, There won't be any rest at home Until we know who's won. They start it in the morning Before I'm up, you see, And then when I come home from school They're at it still. Oh, Gee! Oh, I don't mind folks talking If the subject is all right But they're so much in earnest That they yell with all their might. (My mother is a Democrat, And Dad's a Republican, wild, My uncle is a Communist And I'm an impudent child! |
